About Robin
Robin D. H. Muretisch, CPF, CVF, CPC, MBA
Founder and Principal
What I do: I help teams and groups - your team - address real issues and plan for the future together. I am a quick learner of your business; a keen listener to your issues and questions; and an adept facilitator who can help you and your staff envision opportunities and develop solutions to ensure their bright ideas come to fruition. Uniquely, as a Certified Professional Coach, I bring a "coach approach" to the session and provide optional follow-on coaching to help clients stay on track with decisions they made in a session.
How I do what I do: Most of the insights are in your company, in your staff. But how do you elicit that wisdom? That’s where I come in. I am personable, inclusive, and comfortable working with anyone. I bring your staff together in a facilitative, constructive, and respectful way, so they (not I) resolve your biggest issues. They develop innovative solutions, and you’ll see engagement, commitment, and enhanced working relationships that go far beyond the situation at hand.
Who is involved: Mostly, it’s you, your team and me. But you may wonder what happens if your engagement is really large. As a solopreneur, I have developed a network of skilled facilitation cohorts; I can tap into that pool if your situation requires multiple facilitators. No issue is too large or too small.
Where I learned facilitation: As a Certified Professional Facilitator (CPF), group facilitation is what I love to do. For 30+ years, I’ve been consulting with, advising, and facilitating teams to implement a wide variety of organizational initiatives. These have included strategic and business planning, team design and leadership, process improvement, project management, compliance programs, workshop development and delivery, enterprise risk management, business continuity, performance measurement, volunteer board development, team building, among others. I’ve even used facilitation to keep the peace during jury deliberations and at homeowners’ association meetings!
A few more things if you’re still reading!: In order to help promote facilitation, I’m a member of the Atlanta-based Southeast Association of Facilitators (SEAF) and was on their board. I am a Certified Professional Facilitator (CPF) through the International Association of Facilitators (IAF), an INIFAC Certified Virtual Facilitator (CVF), and a Certified Professional Coach (CPC). In addition to these, I held “former life” certifications as Certified Public Accountant and Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional, both of which speak to my attention to detail and commitment to professional and ethical practices.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my husband and having fun with family and friends. I don’t sit still very long and am always doing something, whether it’s walking, working in the yard, experimenting with new recipes, frequenting local concerts and hole-in-the-wall restaurants, reading, learning something new, participating at church, or organizing just about anything!
